Don't go Chasin' Waterfalls!

Hey guys, just sharing with you my favorite song when I was a bit younger ☺; I was 25 when this song came out, and I just love it! This song was like telling me to "slow down with my life because I was moving too fast". Those were the days when I was never contented with anything, I would go one thing to the next, I never stop chasing something that would make me happy and satisfied! Back then, I want to have it may way most of the time or nothing at all. I never stick on something, especially with my job...I changed job many times until I was tired and just let go; I came to my senses that changing one thing to the other all the time will never give me satisfaction. I guess growing old will make you realize that life is precious, enjoy every second of it, don't move too fast or you'll miss all the fun along the way! Just listen to the song and you'll probably understand what I mean☺!

A lonely mother gazing out of her window 

staring at a son that she just can't touch.

If at any time he's in a jam she'll be by his side, 

but he doesn't realize he hurts her so much.

But all the praying just ain't helping at all, 

'cause he can't seem to keep his self out of trouble. 

So, he goes out and he makes his money the best way he know how, 

another body laying cold in the gutter. 

Listen to me.

I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all, 

but I think you're moving too fast. 

Little precious has a nat'ral obsession for temptation, 

but he just can't see. 

She give him loving that his body can't handle, 

but all he can say is, "Baby, it's good to me." 

One day he goes and takes a glimpse in the mirror, 

but he doesn't recognize his own face. 

His health is fading and he doesn't know why. 

Three letters took him to his final resting place. 

Y'all don't hear me.

Have dried the tears from my eyes

Who's to blame 

For tootin' caine in your own vein

You claim the insane

I say the system got you victim to your own mind

It's a Beautiful Life

If I go back to college again, I'd concentrate on learning to write and speak before an audience. Nothing in life is more beautiful than the ability to communicate effectively. It's a beautiful life to be able to express and describe the beauty of this world.

The Beauty of Nature

Beauty in itself is perfect, but no beauty is perfect. Trying to be perfect makes one miserable. Here's a good story for accepting beauty in itself. A story that tells us to let nature take its course, it may not be perfect but beautiful in itself.

*A priest was in charge of the garden within a famous Zen temple. He had been given the job because he loved the flowers, shrubs, and trees. Next to the temple there was another, smaller temple where there lived a very old Zen master. One day, when the priest was expecting some special guests, he took extra care in tending to the garden. He pulled the weeds, trimmed the shrubs, combed the moss, and spent a long time meticulously raking up and carefully arranging all the dry autumn leaves. As he worked, the old master watched him with interest from across the wall that separated the temples.
When he had finished, the priest stood back to admire his work. "Isn't it beautiful," he called out to the old master. "Yes," replied the old man, "but there is something missing. Help me over this wall and I'll put it right for you."
After hesitating, the priest lifted the old fellow over and set him down. Slowly, the master walked to the tree near the center of the garden, grabbed it by the trunk, and shook it. Leaves showered down all over the garden. "There," said the old man, "you can put me back now."*
