5 Ways to Pamper Mom for Mother's Day

It's mother's day; a day  after tomorrow, have you decided what to give your mom?  Well, here's 5 tips from my favorite Feng Shui Consultant, Ken Lauher. Hope this article helps you to find something nice for your mom! I decided to give #5 to my mother, although I will do it a week later so I can stay with her a bit longer...It may be late, but will surely enjoy her company.

(Mother's Day seems to be timed perfectly to treat mom to the new spring styles!)

2. Give the gift of cashmere - A long-sleeve cashmere t-shirt in spring colors is light enough to wear year-round, providing great protection from the sun. Cashmere tees go for half the price (or less) of cashmere sweaters, but offer the same soft, luxury feel.

3. Brighten Mom's day with a colorful scarf - A colorful, luxurious silk scarf will look great for Mother's Day brunch or dinner. Even moms like to get dressed up sometimes, and a scarf transitions easily from day to night.

4. Show your love with jewelry - Circle bracelets are hot this year, complementing bangles but offering a surprise twist. Earrings are big but classy this year, with unusual gemstones set in yellow or white gold or even sterling silver.

5. Just give Mom your time -- and a meal she doesn't have to cook! - All the moms on staff at a major women's magazine asked for the same thing for Mother's Day: time with their kids, and for someone else to take care of the food. That means deciding on the menu, cooking and clean-up. Or you can just choose the best restaurant in town and letting someone else handle all the details. The important thing, to Mom, is the chance to spend time with her family instead of a sink full of dirty dishes.
